we would like to familiarize you with what we need to start the project and what you can expect from our side. We will go through step by step explanation of the work process below:
FILES
In this initial stage, we would need files from you that will explain your project to us. If you have AutoCAD drawings that show floor plan (site plan) and elevations, that would be the best solution because it offers all the info we need in a precise manner. Clients often have pdf or any other image files that show architectural plans. Working with these is ok, but it takes a little bit more time to produce the model because images are used as background and they are not as precise as dwg files.
We would also need to know which view you would like to see, so at this phase, we would need info on view directions and the number of views or path of animation so that we know which parts of the object need to be shown and modelled.
Please note that in case you have any specific need, like a specific piece of furniture, cars or plants that you would like to use, this is the point when you should tell us. We have a large library and many of the models can be found on the net, but in case that we have to model it ourselves, we would need to know so that we can include it in our quotation.
QUOTATION
Based on the size and complexity of the project, the number of views and view directions, we will give tell you what will the price be and in which timeframe you can expect the preview and final model from us.
MODELLING
After your approval, we will start making a 3D model based on the info you gave us.
PREVIEW
After we finish the 3D model, we will send you previews for you to check the geometry and camera positions. In general, we are making three slightly different camera positions for each view so that you can choose the best angle and we can alter the camera position for you to get the perfect view.
COLORS, MATERIALS, LANDSCAPING
After the geometry and camera positions are set, we would need info on materials, colors and landscaping. The best way of sending us the info on colors and materials is to use reference photos or exact values ( RGB, CMYK, NSC, LAB, RAL or any other format)
In case you don't have material and color examples, you can check our color chart page and pick any of the colors and materials you can see there. Please note that we can not accept terms like 'light blue' or 'warm green' because they are not exact and it is very hard to match them...
We have a vast library of plants, either as 3D models or 2D cutouts, so we should be able to match your needs, or in case that we do not have a specific plant in our library we will try to find it or we will use the most similar on that we have in our collection.
In case you don't have plant list, you can send us reference files or describe to us the general type of the landscape ( desert, tropical, delicious or similar ) and we will make it ourselves.
FINAL RENDERING
After getting your selection, we will produce the final rendering or animation. In case of making an animation, we will show you previews before making the final pass, as it takes large quantities of computing time to make the final video. After approving the previews we will make the final animation.
REVISIONS
We are open in making smaller adjustments free of charge. These include some slight color changes and landscape adjustments. Please note that in some cases it might be very difficult to completely change the color and will require additional charging. Also, please note that we would have to charge additionally if the geometry of the project has been changed or if we have to make significant changes to the 3D scene.
